Naturalized American center Marc Montavious (202-1990, college: Georgetown, KY) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 15 rebounds. American Timothy Simmons (195-1992, college: DBU) contributed with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American guard Brent Kelly (185-2000, college: Nichols, agency: Fully Feared Sports) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for Brujos. Santa Tecla will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Santa Ana will play against Santiagueno (#8) and hopes to get finally their first victory.

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Brujos (5-3) crushed on the road 9th ranked Ahuachapan (1-6) 80-57 on Tuesday. Brujos dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Ahuachapan's 36. They outrebounded Ahuachapan 50-24 including a 40-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by American guard Brent Kelly (185-2000, college: Nichols, agency: Fully Feared Sports) who scored that evening 22 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Fernando Hernandez (181-2003) supported him with 10 points and 13 rebounds. Kelly is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Brujos players scored in double figures. Even 26 points and 5 rebounds by American-Laos guard Kadeim Jones (191-1999, college: UWG) did not help to save the game for Ahuachapan. point guard Francisco Angulo (179-1989) added 16 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts.
